The Purpose of This Site
This site exists primarily as an addendum to my resume so that potential employers can get a clearer representation of my experience. It is an on-line tool to showcase my current skills and experience that a resume may not show in enough detail.
Because of my affinity for web development and because it is a career that I would love to pursue, it's important that a web site displaying my portfolio be a demonstration in itself of my ability.
The Composition of This Site
The site itself was created using standard-compliant XHTML, CSS and JavaScript mixed with some PHP on the "server-side".
The design of the web site is completely set up in the stylesheet. Therefore, it is quite easy and manageable to change the entire look of this web site without modifying a single line of HTML.
